In late May, of 2020, America made history. After the death of an unarmed African American man, a citizen of the United States, countless individuals gathered to the streets to do more than show solidarity to the man who was executed by police officers in the street, in sight for all to see. They took to the streets to say, 'this is the last straw'. A show of civil disobedience through peaceful, and non-peaceful means. These protests turned to riots when met by police officers intent upon silencing the anger of these communities, and the fires of their first riot spread like grassfire across the nation, and across the world. Millions of voices take to their streets, and millions of voices are matched by the brutality of draconian intentions. Violence erupts, with police aggression is sent into a frenzy against peaceful protests. Men, women, and children fall victim to their gleeful acts of violence, through "less than lethal" ammunition and tear gas is fired upon crowds, cornered like animals and beaten bloody.
Enthymema, was created in late 2019, finished in February of 2020. Only now, with the shape of my nation as it is, it seems more than right to release the unintentional soundtrack of this year's second half.
